Suresh Ghunah

Suresh Ghunah has been in ministry since 1984. He served as a minister in the Assemblies of God (AOG) in Mauritius until 1988.

In 1988, he moved to South Africa in obedience to the voice of God. His ultimate calling was to work in Africa. He married Michelle in 1991 and together they left South Africa in that year to establish a work in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). For 12 years Suresh worked extensively with church leaders in the DRC and planted an Apostolic Centre there, which is now under the oversight of one of his spiritual sons.

In 1996, convinced that God was doing a ‘New Thing’ in the earth, Suresh was led to join The Congress World Breakthrough Network (CWBN) under the Leadership of Dr. Noel Woodroffe, where he served as a Global Congress Leader while still based in the DRC.

Suresh and Michelle returned to South Africa in 2003 and continued serving in the Congress WBN for a further 10 years. He gave oversight to a local church and worked with other church leaders in South Africa, while continuing to provide global leadership to churches in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of Congo, Angola, Gabon, Mauritius, Madagascar and Reunion.

Suresh and Michelle joined Pastor Thamo Naidoo at Gate Ministries Sandton in 2013. They have been on staff since 2016 and serve as Regional and Pastoral Elders. Suresh continues to work with leaders in South Africa, West Africa, Mauritius and France.

Suresh and Michelle reside in Randburg with their three daughters.
