Men@TheGate meet every 6 weeks on a Saturday to enjoy a continental breakfast, fellowship and healthy guy time under the leadership of Henry Steyn. Mission: to produce a mature functional man in the Kingdom of God – who understands his God governing sphere both generally and in the context of his life and calling. This state of maturity is key to functioning as husband and father and a son committed to the house of Gate Ministries Sandton.
The Men’s breakfast is set to propel men into their intended role of leadership as head of the family, serving the purposes of God and representing the Father’s character and heart to their families. We define headship as Men standing in the forefront of the battle, not entitlement to be served. Headship is not the use of authority for ones own ends, but a vehicle through which one learns how to be like Christ, who gave His life to sanctify his bride the Church.
