This message is the 3rd in a series that commenced three weeks ago as a new year message. In this series, week by week, Pastor Thamo is painstakingly building principles to imbibe the primary thought into our minds that our bodies have been prepared to do His will. Every person should come to the realization, through revelation, that we are here on earth to do God’s will. You are encouraged to listen to sessions 1 and 2 to get the clearer background to this life changing series.
The main focus of today’s message is strengthening of the hands. Hebrews 12:12.
Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, (NKJV)
The hands referred to in this portion of scripture, are not our physical hands attached to a physical body, but hands are our abilities, our skills and our vocations. Hands represent power and the agency that determines our existence. It is these ‘hands’ that must be washed in the Word of God. Against this definition, we understand that weak hands are symbolic of sluggishness (slow to hear and receive) in life. Refer to Hebrews 6:11-12.
Pastor Thamo explains that in order to strengthen our hands we must first wash our hands. The washing of hands with water held a very important ceremonial role. Water is a symbol of the Word of God and by inference, the strengthening of our hands takes place through the washing of the hands, not by water, but by the Word of God.
We invite you to watch and listen to this teaching that will challenge the current paradigm and propel us into a greater understanding of what the strengthening of the hands entail. Be blessed.
