NEXT BIG EVENT IN:

In this session Pastor Thamo brings to a conclusion, a series of teachings highly relevant to the present context of economic hardships. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant economic decline throughout the world resulting in extreme panic and anxiety. Against the backdrop of this context, this series is a timely reminder to the Church of Christ, that there is an economy in God that has a significantly different operational culture from the economic systems of the world. However, to live in the economy of God and to be sustained by it, one has to understand and apply the principles of it.

Pastor Thamo reiterates that the essence of that which he is teaching in this series is not primarily about finance, but it’s about the resetting of our souls to be in congruence with our spirits so that there will be a state of good health in our entire existence in life. In other words, the way of our soul is the way of our entire life. If the soul is dysfunctional, then that soul would contribute to the deficiency and dysfunctionality in one’s life. The scriptural basis for this statement is 3 John 1:2, Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (NKJV). Pastor Thamo unpacks the issue of the prosperity of the soul.

A key point brought to the fore is that our generosity in every facet of our lives is a reflection of the state of health of the soul. Stinginess, frugality, and grudging giving, for example, is evidence of a wound in the soul of that person. The church must go through a process of catharsis, a cleansing and healing of the soul, in preparation for the supernatural. Pastor Thamo explains how the prosperous, healthy soul creates the environment for grace to abound.

This series of teachings can be described as nothing less than profound. It presents unequivocal biblical truths for the Church of Jesus Christ to live in the abundance of divine provision.
